Treatment: Recommended treatment consists of the following: To decrease absorption - Evacuating the stomach to eliminate unabsorbed drug.
Specific treatment - Administering epinephrine, corticosteroids, and antihistamines for allergic reactions.
Supportive care - Using supportive measures as needed. Patients in whom intentional overdose is known or suspected should be referred for psychiatric consultation.
